ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Lakshmi .

I am illustrator and live event artist , based in the DC metro area. 

Having grown up in Bombay pursuing a career in architecture, creativity has always been a vital part of who I am . As I moved into adulthood, my role in life became SAHM, but not without finding my stepping stone back into the world of art through painting, as a hobby. What grew to be an Etsy shop turned into much more than I anticipated.

Since that first paintbrush stroke, my work has expanded into live sketching & Live painting at corporate events and weddings, features in Vogue India and Harper’s Bazaar India, engraving, and  launching my own product line that continues to grow.
